  1. The Autism Connection of Greene County held their 4th Annual Autism Awareness Walk on April 22nd in Coxsackie, NY. Much, much, much appreciation to Kelly Fagan for all her hard work to make our autism awareness campaign, throughout Greene County, a success! Thank you Mayor Mark Evans and the Village Board for welcoming us again this year. Thank you also to Chief Don Meier and the Coxsackie Police Department for helping us throughout the day keeping everything in order. The rain held out again this year and allowed Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin and Mayor Evans to address the crowd and for Cathy Harter to present a sign to hang at the Autism Connection's office (you did a beautiful job Diane!). Assemblyman Peter Lopez joined up with us for the walk and activities at McQuade Park. At the end of the walk, LifeNet of NY Albany 7-1 landed in the park (very exciting to see)! A huge thank you goes out the the medical helicopter crew for brightening the eyes of all that attended the walk, as well as to the Coxsackie Fire Department for securing the landing zone. Although the weather was cold and blustery, there was a great turn out for an amazing event!
